Default Buyer's Market Ahead? News from a related field may be relevant

Here's an interesting item regarding market softening for a totally
discretionary, high-dollar, consumer luxury item. Doesn't involve
boats, but the dynamics of the purchasing decision have to be fairly
similar.

Will the aging boomers save either market?

2008 will probably be an excellent time to buy a boat. The market has
*always* been cyclical, and can't go up forever like it did the last
few years.
