I agree with you, but there is a big sign on the wall that says
"minimum rental length is 25 feet".

Whereas if the sign said "minimum rental is $125/month" everyone would be
happy. (Depending on the amount, of course!)

You should go mention that to the manager. Let him know everyone is
bitching. Maybe he'd give you a free month!
