Default Boat heating experiment

This morning is the coldest this season ... 18 degrees right now .... and
it's still very comfortable here in the Navigator. I turned the heat down
last night in all but the master stateroom. I woke up only to find it
getting too warm, so I turned it'sthermostat down a bit.

The main cabin and pilot house area was a little nippy in the morning ... 56
degrees. Turned the heaters up a bit and now, a couple of hourse later it's
a nice, toasty 70 degrees inside and 18 degrees outside.

Not bad.

Are you still using your elliptical?

I took the summer off from the diet and exercise thing. Stopped last April
and started enjoying real food, ice cream and some Coor's Light once in a
while. No Samuel Adams beer though, regretfully.

I've re-gained about 20 of the 65 lbs that I had lost last winter, but still
feel pretty good. I'll start the program again on January 1st and get back
to under 200 again, although it's a bit too light for me according to the
doc and Mrs.E.

Yeah. I still don't like it, though, but the pain lessens with time.

I don't particularly "like" it, but during the winter it's a nice change of
pace from the threadmill, (pun intended).

Do you have resistance heaters or reverse cycle? We use a combination
of both on the GB49.

(currently anchored south of St Augustine near Matanzas Inlet.)

You ought to get off that RV barge and do some fishing. You're in a
great spot for flounder, sea trout and reds.

It's a good thought although our main priority is getting home at this
point.

What do you recommend for bait?

Are you planning to cut across the lake? Is there enough water?

We would if we could but water levels are too low and are likely to
stay that way at least until next summer. It adds over 300 NM to the
trip for us.
