Give it a trickle charge and trickle charge it once a month. You can get "Smart Chargers" these days that sense battery condition and turn themselves on when needed. My primarry charger stays plugged in and hooked up to a boat battery whenever I'm not using it (the charger) elsewhere. Now and then, I hear it kick on and trickle a little while.
