I bought Vista, my stoopid, I know. db VISTA isn't slow if you are running the right processor and an appropriate amount of memory for the applications you use. Bet you're not. Harry, You might be able to start a great business, selling computer that are actually designed to run Vista. For only $1,000 more, you can have a computer that will run Vista as fast as it will run Win XP. I love the way you get the 3D windows in Vista, now that is one hell of a nice feature. Sorry, S.F.B., but I don't "get" 3D windows in vista because I don't use them. You obviously know nothing about VISTA and it shows. This is a good newsgroup for you to get away with that. Wow, you mean there is more to Vista, do tell. What are some of the features you like best? |

Harry, How is that any different than just not using a real email address? I recommend you send JimH your email so he can send you questions directly. It is a real email address, SFB. Obviously it is another one of those little computer thingies you don't understand. Too bad. Not my job to answer your questions. |

Whatever assumption you make from that statement will be as wrong as your statements here that I owned a 17' SeaPro. |

Use that same processor and memory setup and XP will still run faster. Running a warp speed processor to get the same performance as an XP machine running a supersonic speed CPU is just masking problems. Sorry; can't run the "same" memory setup on XP. That should give you a hint, eh? I've been waiting patiently here for someone to bring up something, anything, and you've come the closest, even though you still didn't get it. :} |

These days, I give your posts the 10 seconds they deserve, but you do get more time than Reggie and a few others. Do you spend a lot of time analyzing Jimh's decisions? |
