As a matter of fact, Harry, the personal attacks have not started with
Reggie. He has asked you questions that may be difficult for you to answer,
but he's not 'attacked' you or Jimh. Neither have I, although Jimh would
like to imply that I have.

I have told Reggie that I want neither his advice nor his questions. I
have told him this at least 50 times.

But you don't deny my comment.

When I get advice, solicited or not, I usually simply thank the person for
taking the time. That doesn't mean I'll follow the advice.

I didn't address your comment because it wasn't relevant. As I stated,
quite clearly, I am not interested "advice" Reggie offers me, nor am I
interested in his questions. It has nothing to do with whether his
questions are easy, difficult or inane.

What you do with "advice" you are offered is your business.

Yes, by taking a preventative measure, the crew was actually spreading
disease. Good point.

Take airplanes. The continuous fresh air in the cabins is bound to
be more
healthful.
Hey - do your thing - I have no problem with it. If you want to walk
around a floating infection factory where they have to hand out
disinfectant wipes to keep their clients healthy - have at it man.
Good idea. Brilliant in fact - should make everybody feel much safer
health wise. The base fact that disinfectant wipes are meaningless in
the long run shouldn't enter into it at all.

Remember - disinfecting doesn't kill virus vectors - only bleach or
similar solutions kill virus vectors.

I'm not going to do it for stated reasons. The last infection I had
took three months to get rid of and I had to use a walker to move
around the house. And that was from a brand new pool at the health
club I belong to.

Be my guest, but I'll take a pass.

They hand out hand disinfectants? Are you serious?

Is everyone also wearing a mask over their nose and mouth?

You'd like our house. My wife is loose with the bleach.

My wife gave me grief about overuse of bleach in the bathroom.
I countered by reminding her that she arbitrairly assigning me to the
task of keeping it clean...so I'd decide how.
Wish I could spray full strength bleach in this newsgroup...
especially since a certain troublemaker has returned from a cruise
bringing new virises with him.

Well, there are far better places to have boating discussions than
rec.boats. We have far too many posters here whose interest is not boats.

Harry,
I would recommend you go to those other places and leave this NG to it's
own demise.

As I have told you before, I don't give a rat's ass about your
recommendations.

By the way, "it's" is a contraction of "it is." The possessive form is
"its." You frequently confuse the two. In your next life, if you have
one, pay a bit more attention in third grade English.

The Disney folks really take care of their passengers with great food,
great shows, and a beautiful ship. I highly recommend it!
I have never been on a cruise, but it sounds like a great trip with the
grandkids.

All my life I've thought they were a great waste of money, and they are.
Now I've gone twice in two years, and am planning to go again in two
years!

I was thinking, while on this cruise, that cruise ships would be a great
target for the GW fanatics. Those things use a lot of resources, and
provide nothing, other than fun, for mankind. So, you ought to take
advantage of them before they get on someone's hit list.

I actually asked my wife if she would like to take a cruise to Alaska.
She liked the idea originally, then decided she would prefer to take more
shorter vacations than a 2 week cruise.

Did you offer to send her on a vacation with someone other than you?

LOL

You have a special problem. If I were in your shoes, I'd be leery of
anything public, planes, ships, stores, whatever. I'd sure not use the
potty at any public facility.

The Disney ships have not yet been involved in one of the mass infections
which have plagued other cruise lines. I am not trying to get you to go on
a Disney, or any other, ship.

Sure, I'll take a cruise on a big ship with hundreds of other

Like hell I will. :)

Ditto. As an aging baby boomer I cannot imagine wanting to take a

I shudder every time we go out for dinner to find us next to a cheap

Screw you.

I never posted anything negative about your kids or grandkids. Your
flame

I have raised a son who will soon be a US Marine.

I have raised a daughter who will soon be graduating from Ohio State.

I can understand your nasty attitude after coming off a cruise filled
with
snot nosed screaming brats.

You now need to chill.

Jealousy coming to the fore again, JimH?

Jealous of a you taking a Disney Cruise? ROTF!

Oh my gosh, I thought you mentioned my grandkids in your post about
snot-nosed kids! Was I mistaken?

Yes. Please show me where I did.

BTW: I am still waiting for an apology from you for posting a personal
attack on my family.

However, I was not surprised that you made that attack nor am I surprised
you are not man enough to apologize for that attack.

Jimh, could you please enlighten me? What are you calling a personal
attack on your family? Did I say something derogatory about them?

You really are a low life.

Jimh, to whose grandkids were you referring with your snot nosed comments?
Surely they weren't mine, because you don't know mine. And, the parents of
mine have done a nice job of keep the noses of their kids clean.

With whom do you associate that has all these snot nosed kids? I can't
think of any of my friends or family who have kids fitting the description
of those with which you are so familiar.

Actually, you'll find that his comment preceeded the one he accuses me of.
