Hey - do your thing - I have no problem with it. If you want to walk around a floating infection factory where they have to hand out disinfectant wipes to keep their clients healthy - have at it man. Good idea. Brilliant in fact - should make everybody feel much safer health wise. The base fact that disinfectant wipes are meaningless in the long run shouldn't enter into it at all. Remember - disinfecting doesn't kill virus vectors - only bleach or similar solutions kill virus vectors. I'm not going to do it for stated reasons. The last infection I had took three months to get rid of and I had to use a walker to move around the house. And that was from a brand new pool at the health club I belong to. Be my guest, but I'll take a pass. They hand out hand disinfectants? Are you serious? Is everyone also wearing a mask over their nose and mouth? You'd like our house. My wife is loose with the bleach. |

As a matter of fact, Harry, the personal attacks have not started with Reggie. He has asked you questions that may be difficult for you to answer, but he's not 'attacked' you or Jimh. Neither have I, although Jimh would like to imply that I have. |

Sure, I'll take a cruise on a big ship with hundreds of other people and their rug rats that I don't know on your recommendation. Like hell I will. :) Ditto. As an aging baby boomer I cannot imagine wanting to take a cruise aboard a ship filled with snot nosed screaming spoiled brats........grandkids or not. Hmm, you just got ****y with JohnH for saying something about YOUR kids, but it seems as you don't mind saying something about someone elses...... I shudder every time we go out for dinner to find us next to a cheap skate family who decided to bring their screaming preschooler with them rather than hire a baby sitter. Having to endure an entire cruise with that *atmosphere* is not my cup of tea. Maybe the person isn't a "cheapskate". Maybe that person wants his children to learn social skills. Did you wait until your kids were teenagers before you let them out? |

Screw you. I never posted anything negative about your kids or grandkids. Your flame of my family is uncalled for. Maybe not John's, but you certainly have others. I have raised a son who will soon be a US Marine. I have raised a daughter who will soon be graduating from Ohio State. wow..... |

When the Disney Magic docked, dozens of people on the Carnival ship got their cameras to take pictures of the Disney Magic. I saw not one person on the Disney Magic take a picture of the Carnival ship. My wife and I went to that part of Mexico for our honeymoon. We landed in Cancun, spent a day there, and then took the ferry ride to Cozumel, where we stayed for two days. Rented scooters. Last season, some tourists were killed in Cozumel. Hoodlums chased them down, got them off their scooters, robbed them and then killed them. Scary. Anyway, after Cozumel, we went to Tulum, and then to Chichen Itza. Great trip. We spent another day in Cancun upon our return. I wouldn't recommend Cancun to anyone these days. Chichen Itza is fantastic. I spent a week in Merida. |

Jealousy coming to the fore again, JimH? Jealous of a you taking a Disney Cruise? ROTF! Oh my gosh, I thought you mentioned my grandkids in your post about snot-nosed kids! Was I mistaken? Yes. Please show me where I did. BTW: I am still waiting for an apology from you for posting a personal attack on my family. My wife is loose with the bleach. My wife gave me grief about overuse of bleach in the bathroom. I countered by reminding her that she arbitrairly assigning me to the task of keeping it clean...so I'd decide how. Wish I could spray full strength bleach in this newsgroup... especially since a certain troublemaker has returned from a cruise bringing new virises with him. Well, there are far better places to have boating discussions than rec.boats. We have far too many posters here whose interest is not boats. |
