Mrs.E. already presented me with a framed picture of her boat. Press a button on the picture frame and it plays sounds of waves gently breaking, seagulls calling and an occasional faint fog horn. She's trying desperately to prevent winter depression from setting in. Eisboch When I was a kid in New England, I liked winter because of the ice skating, sledding and cross country skiing, but nowadays I certainly can understand "winter depression." Couple of years ago, we were offered a couple of professional opportunities in southern Connecticut that would have allowed us to relocate to just about anywhere we liked between Branford and Madison, CT, but we both decided it was just too damned cold up there for us, especially for my wife, who is a southern belle. |
