Heck, paste some nice seascapes on the windows, put a fan in the window,
and play a tape of marina noises...and you have a home for the winter!

Mrs.E. already presented me with a framed picture of her boat.

Press a button on the picture frame and it plays sounds of waves gently
breaking, seagulls calling and an occasional faint fog horn.

She's trying desperately to prevent winter depression from setting in.

When I was a kid in New England, I liked winter because of the ice
skating, sledding and cross country skiing, but nowadays I certainly can
understand "winter depression."

Couple of years ago, we were offered a couple of professional
opportunities in southern Connecticut that would have allowed us to
relocate to just about anywhere we liked between Branford and Madison,
CT, but we both decided it was just too damned cold up there for us,
especially for my wife, who is a southern belle.

Some shed!
My youngest sister's husband has a setup a bit more modest than that. When
building a new house on a small lake, he built a big 'commercial' sized
garage first to house his backloader & dumptruck.
On the other half is a large workshop heated with a wood stove. It's fully
wired with bank upon bank of fluorescent lighting.
To keep my sister happy, he built a 12' x 20' garage to keep her summer toys
and his motorcycle in.
Then he needed another 'shed' for the 3 Skidoos.
He also has a gardening shed closer to the front.
I look at my 40 x 100 foot lot with two small sheds and wonder if I should
become a 'country boy'.

I know how that is. Dog sitting for the kids and have a slip at Los
Alamitos Harbor for a week. then over to Catalina for a night. Depressed
at how little time we have for boating. Foggy and overcast now.

Looks snug; how'd you get so close to the side wall?
