You can always tell when the weather starts to get cold in the north. Things are still nice here in the Chesapeake however, although the nights are getting cool. Our new inverter powered electric blanket is doing a super job but that morning dash to the generator and heating controls gets your attention. On our old Bertram I could reach the electrical controls from the bunk, an unappreciated advantage of smaller boats. The weather during the day has just been super for over a week. Meanwhile we are still awaiting our first sighting of a LT Parker. Most of the boats out on the bay seem fairly substantial but we are not yet south of Annapolis where most of the elusive LT sightings have been reported. I'm keeping the camera constantly ready for an on water foto op. Stay tuned. |

Busy with his hedge fund creating havoc in the oil and money markets trying to ruin the American economy. You can always tell when the weather starts to get cold in the north. 39 freakin' degrees this morning at 5 AM when I rolled out to let the dogs out. Kind of like going to the outhouse in January. ![]() (For the record, when I was an active hunter, I've done that - it ain't fun let me tell you what.) A susbtantial reward will be offered for any images of same. :) |

We thought it was tough at the time and then you look at some of the recent WW2 footage of guys who spent weeks and months like that. Same thing in Korea I guess. |
