Mostly Albacore, but decent chance at smaller Bluefin and Yellowfin tuna. Don't know if I could talk the wife into all that. She will love SD. Lots of things for her to do and buy while you catch fish. I love San Diego. We tried the winter thing in Florida and it didn't work out and I've always thought SD would be a better choice . But, I am concerned about one thing. Are the locals in SD as weird as the rest of California's population? Eisboch I used to visit SD a lot to work with some Army Reserve units down there. I always enjoyed going there, and would do so about once a month, sometimes more. The weather was great, the people I worked with were great (all locals), and the air was clear, unlike LA where I was stationed. This was back in the late '70s, so things may have changed a lot. If the illegal alien problem is as bad there as it is here (in the DC area), then it may be less enjoyable. The illegals are not a problem except for cost to society. They are mostly nice people. Harder workers than most. We just need a guest worker program for the less educated. We have one now to keep down salaries in the high tech world, H-1 visa program. |
