Just because they came up with a better screwdriver, does not mean the craftsmanship is not "old school". The end result is the right materials, used properly. And personally I suggest that in this case the "old school" practice of aligning the screwheads may be more than aesthetics. It also makes it much easier to do a quick check as to any screws that may be coming loose. This could also make it easier to spot potential problems under the strakes sooner. If one screw is out of place, it's time to do some investigating... Just some thoughts from my perspective ![]() |
