Quality is a big issue with bait. Better bait, better bites.

I always buy resturant quality squid and if I'm chunking clams or clam
bellys, always buy them right off the bull rakers in the Bay. The
rakers will give you a good deal too - better for them as they make
more money and give you some primo bait.

Can't beat quality bait.
