"some other a-hole..." ROTFLMAO!! Harry is right! I noticed that too! Poor John... he's really ready for thet Mickey Mouse cruise off into the sunset. Did I miss a Herringbrain bon mot? I kept a weather eye out for him on the Bay yesterday, bouncing around in his new boat, but for some reason there weren't many of us "out there," Might have had something to do with the three foot breaking waves and northerly winds. It was a pretty day, though. Calm in the marina: http://tinyurl.com/3d9jyh- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - You got out, you lucky *******, give me a double on the ******* part. I spent my day in my tennants well, first time it ran dry that I know of, but they were not really impressed with that ![]() fishies? Some. I found some breaking fish about two miles south of the marina, and tossed a tiny Clark's spoon at them. Turned out to be what we Yankees called "snapper blues." Small bluefish. Nice fighters on my my little five foot rod and 8# test line (with a 6" light wire leader). Did catch a nice keeper blue which will be the guest of honor at dinner tonight. Also caught a skate. I really don't enjoy catching them though they tug like crazy. They are large and a pain in the ass to release properly. Had to keep the tabs down while running. You can see their impact on the boat wake...on the starboard and port side. That bag in the lower corner...squid...a reliable fish snack food around here. http://tinyurl.com/2pvq55 Harry, are you really telling us you could spot breaking fish in the three footers you were out in? The picture sure doesn't show any three footers. Are you telling us fibs again, Harry. Surprising that you haven't taken one picture of a fish to show what a super fisherman you are! |

Something is wrong with your set up. |
