Default OT - Peter Frampton - HOB - Myrtle Beach 8-25

I was a teenage Frampton fan....

and like most,
have forgotten the dude and his music. (I actually credit him for
teaching me to play guitar). I happened to be in the area at
the time of his Myrtle Beach, SC gig and bought
tickets. (The only other time I saw him live was on Bowie's
Glass Spider tour). I didn't expect much, but to my surprise,
the guy rocked the house. PF is a good natured MC with
plenty of new and old material to draw from. He played
a good portion of FCA to please the fans and some of his
new material which is EXCELLENT. Apparently, his new
album "Fingerprints" is all instrumental and has won a grammy.

The few tunes I heard from the new disc rock and
leave me wanting more.

What a great show. Very fine tuned and polished.
Frampton knows his way around a guitar and
performed with just a touch of humor.
The crowd loves him and he is in his element on stage. I know what
Jerry Moss saw in him all those years ago.

I hope to never enter the HOB/MB again as they let WAAYYY
to many bodies in the room. We had a hard time finding a spot
to see the full band. However,
If you have the chance, check this tour out.
