Maybe for a recirculating live well. "Wayne.B" wrote in message ... They're surely below the waterline, so I'm wondering what they drain. Not the hull under the deck, because if you look closely, you'll see the usual bronze drain plug at the vee. Probably drains the engine well when running on plane unless it is possibly a live well drain. I dunno. Most recirculating livewells I have seen on small boats (like all the small boats I have owned) have a bronze inlet in the bottom of the hull and an overflow that pumps out above the waterline, again, so you know the overflow is working. It's just an oddity. I'm sure there is some explanation that makes sense. |
