You know, I look at it as a compliment. Your kids (if you have any) would
probably be scheming to get away from you from Jr high on...
My son doesn't seem to mind the old man's company....we share meals, a beer
etc. I hope we still maintain a reasonably close relationship when he
does move out, get married, whatever.

Believe what you want but you already said he was *lazy*. He tolerates
your company while he gets cheap room and board. Maybe by Canadian
standards he's too young to leave the nest.

I look at it as a kid who has learned the work ethic. Both my kids got jobs
after university, and one started her own business. They like us and like
us to visit. Youngest, bought a condo near the beach in Santa Monica at 25
years old. Maybe the kid, should be forced to get a job.
