Sidelights it is.


It may be technically legal but it's not necessarily safe. Passengers
like to stand next to the consol or even in front of it, effectively
blocking the light completely, or at least intermittently, making it
look like a blinking light.
Satisfying the law is one thing. But please locate them so we can see
you clearly when you're coming at us in the dark ;-)
