I'm removing the bow red/green nav light from the new boat and
am thinking of placing one single color nav light on each side of the
center console.

I can't seem to find the damned rule regarding nav lights. I believe
having the red/green lights on the side is perfectly legal, but I'm
looking for a "source." The USCG site seems to be down here.

Anyone? Ferris? Ferris Bueller?
