Not hard at all if it's an old OMC. If it's a merc or a newer volvo penta,

OMC one plate one housing (6 total screws)... Piece of Cake...
The only bad thing is what damage did having a bad impeller cause. Get a Seloc manual for your boat. They are cheap for the infomation they provide. wrote in message ... I guess it was the volvo's from about 10 years ago that were easy. Four
