Great boats. Better ride than a Whaler but just as unsinkable.

You can use the Ranger as an outrigger! Put a Brockway on the other
side and you have a tri that only turns in one direction

Well congrats, especially if you go through with this one.
Looks like it might be a decent little boat, but they're not
particularly well known in this section of the country.

Most boats are not particularly well known in your part of the country,
since boating in your part of the country is done sans sun and warm weather.

Going inside to go boating. Big thrill.

You're right. If we waited for calm sunny days without the slightest
ripple on the water we'd never get away from the dock. We consider
crashing waves, cool temperatures, and howling winds par for the
course, and that does foster a different type of boating
mentality. :-)

Still, Shortwave's prospective boat looks like it would be tough
enough to make it in the Pacific North Wet, although center consoles
can get pretty cold, particularly at speed. Some of our most popular
months for salmon fishing are August-October, and it's getting
particularly nippy around here in the wee morning hours of the
average day in October.
