Only to "certain" types of people.

Want to fall asleep? Watch the Tour de France on ESPN.

Well, see there's your problem.

It's on Versus - the old OLN.

Sheesh.

Sheesh this, Dull Boy... :)

You're right...it is VS. Whatever the hell that is. I only know it as
the weekend fishing channel. Now I understand why the quality stuff has
been replaced by bike racing, hockey playoffs, and the rest of the
crapola

We get it. You don't like sports. You got the crap kicked out of you
in high school, right? I know you're "listening" - you can't help
it.- Hide quoted text -

Talk about boring. I was watching a sports news thing, and they ran
about 20 seconds of b-roll of the girls US soccer team, The headline
of that clip was the team "almost" making a
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooal !!

Soccer is extreme tension, competition, and excitement, and 89 1/2
minutes of total boredom

I can't believe nobody's mentioned golf yet. And it was on three of our
six broadcast channels yesterday afternoon.

DT

I mentioned golf. Or at least I think I did. Great game for those who
like it, good exercise if you walk the course, but boring as watching
paint dry to watch.

I think that would be an overstatement. Golf is as boring as already
dried paint. And although soccer is boring, I would still consider it
a sport, golf, er, no. Unless of course you play it like that Tiger
Woods guy, he's an athelete. Maybe he should try playing sports !

Before that was yacht racing..... which is even more boring than
NASCAR....

Actually, I enjoyed the Cup yacht races - the commentators were very
informative and the action shots were pretty cool.

As far as NASCAR - I like the big speedways - go fast and turn left.

I'm not a big fan of small track racing except for Bristol which is a
riot to watch.

all of it, like watching paint dry.

That would be bowling.

Gimme my fishing shows back......

Oh my God - talk about boring.

Small tracks are more fun. Went to Rockingham in the 1980's. Still one of
the most fun sports experiences ever. Was a happening. Exciting racing as
well as great people watching. I used to race SCCA B-production Vette and
was not much of a spectator, but NASCAR at the Southern tracks are fun.

Say what? I was very disappointed thet no one carried the Americas Cup up
this way.
From what I've heard it was a fairly close series.

The races between the Swiss and New Zealand was carried on VS. I missed the
last of the set when I went to Virginia Beach. The first three races were
fun, and close.
