I mentioned golf. Or at least I think I did. Great game for those who like it, good exercise if you walk the course, but boring as watching paint dry to watch.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - I think that would be an overstatement. Golf is as boring as already dried paint. And although soccer is boring, I would still consider it a sport, golf, er, no. Unless of course you play it like that Tiger Woods guy, he's an athelete. Maybe he should try playing sports ! ![]() |

Want to fall asleep? Watch the Tour de France on ESPN. Sheesh. Before that was yacht racing..... which is even more boring than NASCAR.... Actually, I enjoyed the Cup yacht races - the commentators were very informative and the action shots were pretty cool. As far as NASCAR - I like the big speedways - go fast and turn left. I'm not a big fan of small track racing except for Bristol which is a riot to watch. all of it, like watching paint dry. That would be bowling. Gimme my fishing shows back...... Oh my God - talk about boring. Small tracks are more fun. Went to Rockingham in the 1980's. Still one of the most fun sports experiences ever. Was a happening. Exciting racing as well as great people watching. I used to race SCCA B-production Vette and was not much of a spectator, but NASCAR at the Southern tracks are fun. |

From what I've heard it was a fairly close series. The races between the Swiss and New Zealand was carried on VS. I missed the last of the set when I went to Virginia Beach. The first three races were fun, and close. -- John H |
