We received the kit and had it installed on May 14, but from that point on the unit is dead as a doorknob. Appears that the controlboard goes south after the old wiring harness is removed and you have to wait for a new one to be manufactured & shipped from who knows where. It's been 8 weeks now and the wife has collared me for dish drying by hand for the last 6. We're both getting fed up..and to make matters worse, you have to deal with a call center who e-mail Maytag..who ignore the e-mails. Sure do miss the good old days where that 'dog faced' repairman was just hanging around looking for something to break so he'd have work to do. That was the late Gordon Jump. They have some new guy now. snip... Nope... the original guy was a Jessie White (no relation) Maytag dumped him to bring in Mr Carlson from WKRP in Cincinatti (Gordon Jump) http://video.on.nytimes.com/?fr_stor...5 &rf=sitemap |
