The most popular outdoor activity in Seattle in summertime is sitting around the fireplace in your family room.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Close enough. We get to use our diesel furnaces aboard our boats at least once in a while almost every month except (maybe) August. Summer starts in Seattle the first work day after any 4th of July holiday weekend. Boating up here is a 12-month proposition. Maybe that's because if we waited for the "perfect" summer day to go boating there are years we wouldn't get out at all. This winter has been pretty busy, and I've not been able to boat as much as I would like. I've only logged 60 engine hours since last November. How about you Harry? Been out in the Parker lately? |
