Hurricanes are on topic in boating NG, JimH.

Not that you'd know that- or give a ratz arse.

I am not the one calling the subject OT. I guess you missed that.

Time for you to take your annual break from the NG Chuck. You are really on
the edge. ;-)

I'm going to see that my annual break from the NG coincides with your
annual boatride. When you went out last year you caught some ungodly
amount of
fish. Perch, I think? Is it actually safe to eat fish hauled in along
that chemical wasteland of an industrial shoreline on Lake Erie?

The most popular outdoor activity in Seattle in summertime is sitting
around the fireplace in your family room.

Close enough. We get to use our diesel furnaces aboard our boats at
least once in a while almost every month except (maybe) August. Summer
starts in Seattle the first work day after any 4th of July holiday
weekend.

Boating up here is a 12-month proposition. Maybe that's because if we
waited for the "perfect" summer day to go boating there are years we
wouldn't get out at all. This winter has been pretty busy, and I've
not been able to boat as much as I would like. I've only logged 60
engine hours since last November. How about you Harry? Been out in the
Parker lately?

Was not Seattle, but was close. Nice ride on the Victoria to Vancouver
ferry last June. Warm, sunny. Rained later in the day in Vancouver, BC,
but Victoria was warm and sunny. Would have liked to have my boat for a
Gulf Island tour. Thinking of a Summer trip with the boat this year. Harry
uses the "Lobsta Boat" in the winter.

Less than smart: Trolling for a particular poster (see your first
smart ass remark in this thread) and then ridiculing that person for
responding. With your track record you have no recourse to the "humor"
defense.

Even dumber: Responding to your poison pen.

Time to start ignoring your crappy personal remarks. Make you a deal,
JimH;
You ignore my boating related posts (which are of little interest to
you) and I'll ignore your snarky provocations. You have to be the only
person, (with the possible exception of one other individual who is
rather like minded at times), who thinks your middle school maturity
and endless stream of negative, personality-oriented remarks is useful
or entertaining.

Ready to give it a try?

Sure...but only when you also stop with your crappy personal remarks Chuck.
You also need to get away from this place for a while as you are taking
things way too seriously.

Have a nice weekend.

That's my point.

Call it a draw at this point. Heck, you can even imagine that you
"won" if want to, I could care less. We'll ignore each other
henceforth, and refrain from dropping references to one another in
third party posts.

I say let's get this going right away.

Waiting for an unconditional "yes" from you.....
Ready to assume responsibility for your own behavior, independent of
what others might do?
