I splice. First I solder the new wire to the old wires making sure I slip a
piece of heat shrink on the wire first. Then I paint the connection with that black liquid wire insulation stuff. I let that dry. Then I slide the heat shrink over that and heat it up. wrote in message ups.com... Hi. I have a 92 Bravo One and my trim limit and sender need to be replaced. Will a hinge pin tool be enough to flip the bell housing down to make room to get at the wires? I'd rather not have to remove the shift cable or bellows. Does anyone have any tips/tricks to making this job happen without creating other problems? I appreciate any help, thank you. Kevin D. |
