Another option may be to get a larger alternator and two deep cycle
batteries. Then get one of those beefy converters and you can get 2000 watts (or more) from a converter / transformer. You might not be able to run 2000watts of power continuously but it'll charge the batteries when you run the boat. If you dont drive much you can get a solar charger that you put on the windshield or somewhere elsewhere that'll charge the batteries when your not using the boat.
