This young lady, sadly, gave up teaching in high school after some photos
were published in Playboy. Another one of those strange Florida cases,
where any sort of violence is acceptable, but nekkid wimmins are
considered "preverted."

If I had a teacher like this in high school, I would have flunked a year
just to hang around a bit longer.

Something's stupid with this story. There's no way a magazine like Playboy
would *not* have provided her with the appropriate paperwork before
publishing the pictures. If she's pretending she didn't want them published,
she's either stupid, or a really bad liar.

Harry's trying to make it into a political story, when it's not.

Let me highlight what I think is the key issue in the article:

"The West Boca Raton High School teacher became the focus of an
investigation earlier in the week after a parent complained about the
photos at a school board meeting.

The district dropped its investigation two days later, finding Chevillar
did nothing wrong. "

While Harry is using this as one of his trolls to get the right wing up
in arms, it also highlights how the media makes a non issue an issue.

It appears that the media can be just as big of a troll as some that
inhabit this NG.

That's not what happened. She had posed for some bikini photos (no nudity)
that
appeared on a website and some students discovered them. That resulted in
her
firing. The offer from Playboy came afterwards. She was fired for the
bikini
photos. They made her morally unfit, according to the Board of Education.

Ha. Morally unfit to wear the same stuff her female students wear to the
beach. Ha. Sounds like fake saints working their evil again.

It really is a perfect example of the press trying to make an issue out
of a non issue, than every reader doing their own spin based upon their
bias. The reality of the issue is:
"The West Boca Raton High School teacher became the focus of an
investigation earlier in the week after a parent complained about the
photos at a school board meeting.

The district dropped its investigation two days later, finding Chevillar
did nothing wrong."

For many in this country, a female showing off her form is immoral, but
most of those same people think it perfectly moral to execute prisoners
or hold them without charges in an offshore slam.- Hide quoted text -

Good looking women in bikinis are always ON TOPIC in a recreational
boating newsgroup. If you think otherwise, then you're the one with the
problem. Don't like it? Don't read it.

More likely to find the women of Seattle in oilskins than bikinis.

Hows about "Sea Lion Skin"? Got some spares at the locks.
