(!,200 mg) twice/day (2 tablets each time). This combination is
designed to lubricate the bone joints.

Both my wife and I have used this for the past 2 months and we have both
noticed an improvement in our joint pain and flexibility. We use the
Costco /Kirtland brand.


Side effects?


Insanity.

Yes, there are side effects and you will notice them when you sit on the
porcelain throne. There are recent studies that concluded that G&C did
not demonstrably help with joint lubrication. Also, hyaluronic acid
which is present in your joints cannot be absorbed in your digestive
system and make its way to your joints. The only way to get hyaluronic
acid to your joint is by injection.

Have to go out and drain some gas from the boat and fill SWMBO's car. Her
tank is only 1/2 full and has to go for foot MRI in the morning. Need to
probably get a 50 gallon drum as boat is almost full (67 gallons) and I need
to change the tank. Tank is on order so should be here is a week or so.
Figure her car and a couple of 5 gallon cans and I can fit it in a 50 gallon
drum. I drive a diesel, so that is out.

I hate to tell you this, but the improvement is mostly in your
head.

G&C has been proved not effectual in testing and actually
does nothing for your joints. The only way to improve
joint lubrication is to inject hyaluronic acid or a new
type of biological compound whose name escapes me
at the moment.

For minor arthritis, which is an inflamation, asprin or
other pain relief usually works better. For arthritis like
I have, the treatments get intensive and expensive.

There are studies that show varying degrees of effectiveness against OA,
but the U.S. National Institute of Health in a large double blind study
did not see any improvement over the placebo. The kicker is even if it
is ALL a placebo effect, it really doesn't matter to those who are in
less pain, which is why many doctors and the Arthritis Foundation
continue to recommend it for mild to moderate OA. Why mess with
success, no matter what the reason.
