That's not much of an issue... If you wait in line long enough, they'll
open another latte stand right next to your car. I think the number of
stands is approaching a 1:1 ratio with the driving population.

Reminds me of a joke about an announcement Starbucks made a few months
back that they would be doubling their retail space in North America:
The only way they could possibly double their number of locations is by
building directly on top of existing Starbucks locations...

Starbucks believes the Seattle market will be saturated when there is
an espresso stand in each and every livingroom. :-)

Back in 1971 one of my keyboard students had recently relocated to
Seattle from Hawaii. He was involved with opening the original
Starbucks at the Pike Place Market. He offered me a chance to invest,
but I turned him down. Probably the single biggest financial mistake of
my life (and the competition is fierce!). I hate to think what even a
5% share in the original Stabucks would be worth today. :-)
