He was involved with opening the original Starbucks at the Pike Place Market. He offered me a chance to invest, but I turned him down. Probably the single biggest financial mistake of my life (and the competition is fierce!). I hate to think what even a 5% share in the original Stabucks would be worth today. :-) |
