Now you've done it.
We try not to let photos like this get into circulation. It's missing
all of the essential "elements" of a true Seattle experience. For
instance, there is supposed to be rain blowing sideways. With that much
snow on the Olympics it's obviously a winter shot, and this
photographer cleverly timed the presence of the ferry boat with the 15
minutes of any given day where a full 4-5 second exposure at 800 ASA
isn't required to get even the most basic sort of image. We have
sub-arctic winter conditions here- dark, cold, wet.....
And where is the wind? Needs to be howling wind and waves crashing over
the auto deck of the ferry......
"Chamber of Commerce" shot if ever there was one.
(Note to world: Don't even think about it. The freeways are completely
full as it is, housing prices are up in the stratosphere, and moorage
is getting tougher to find all the time).
