Hi - how've you been? Tom, Doing very adequate, just finishing up wrapping some my Christmas presents for my wife. Some Polorid Filters, and a nice tripod. This Nikon D50 has cost me my left nut so far, I am trying to hold onto the other one. |

The place from where I bought the one for my wife signed her up for a Nikon class. Once I locate my receipt for the D200 I can get signed up. I'm wondering if it's worthwhile. -- John H *Have a great Christmas and a spectacular New Year!* |

What I found is I learned at least one thing at each class, but it is really very basic. I actually didn't even buy my camera from Wolfe Camera, but I still got into all the classes. I just told them I didn't get the "tickets" when I purchased the camera, and they gave them to me. By the way, we have the 18-200mm VR lens and use it for about 90% of the time. If I was taking sports or action wildlife shots, I would switch over to the 70-200 for the faster focus, but it is one hell of lens. Now that your wife has her D50, you will need to pick up the other lens. |

No one around here has the lens, and the folks I use most want the full payment just to order it, with no idea when it will arrive. You mentioned a firm in a post a while back, but they were out of it also. I want it! We're taking a cruise in October, and I definitely want it for that. -- John H *Have a great Christmas and a spectacular New Year!* |
