Spoke to my brother last night. He lives in Maple Valley. His electricity
was out, but he suffered no damage otherwise. Lots of downed trees in his
area. Luckily, he's a camper, so he was able to fix dinner in his garage
with his campstove. He also has a gas fireplace, so he was able to keep
warm at night.

How did you fare? OK, I hope.

We were out of power for 17 hours. Had to rent computer time at Kinko's
to do a bit of work and check emails on Friday morning. My sister in
law out in Duvall still has no power at all.
When we got back from our boat trip today my wife took the 1100 watt
Honda genset from our boat out there so they could run at least a
couple of electric items.
