![]() "Tim" wrote in message ups.com... Y'know. I've driven a new mustang,a nd confessedly, I really wasn't that impressed. I used to have a '72 Boss 429, and I really haven't seen a Mustang since that could live up to that standard. Of course, that's my opinion and YMMV. However! I do still have my '92 Mark VII in the garage under tarp. Nice 5.0 HO, gobs of torque, and a beautiful ride. oooooooohhhhhhh! Don White wrote: JohnH wrote: snip.. As I duly reported a month or so ago, I took the car for a six hour trip to North Carolina. The car was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever ridden in. My hips and legs were screaming, no matter what I did with the seat adjustments. I got home on a Saturday, and by the next Saturday it was gone. This was during the same time that Eisboch got rid of the M5. (Or did you forget about that also?) -- ****************************************** ***** Have a super day! ***** ****************************************** John If you had asked, I would have advised that the Mustang is a 'young person's' car. Now that I mention it...that's what my next door neighbour said about my red Ranger Sport truck.. First thing after seeing it he says..."that's a young man's truck" I wonder what his point was? ] Last week, we are at a stop light in Oakland, and I here the sound of power burbling from some exhaust pipes. Look around see nothing that should make that tune. Then realise the custom license plate on the old 190 MB in front of me says SVO Bentz. Dual pipes, traction bars. Nice sleeper. |
