Yo Tim!!
I had a '72 with a 302 2bbl with a C4 trans. Doing 120 on the Interstate
was easy. Cornering with those stupid bias-ply tires was a wild ride.
The time between gas station stops was awfully small.

Y'know. I've driven a new mustang,a nd confessedly, I really wasn't
that impressed. I used to have a '72 Boss 429, and I really haven't
seen a Mustang since that could live up to that standard. Of course,
that's my opinion and YMMV.
However! I do still have my '92 Mark VII in the garage under tarp.
Nice 5.0 HO, gobs of torque, and a beautiful ride.
oooooooohhhhhhh!

snip..
As I duly reported a month or so ago, I took the car for a six hour trip to
North Carolina. The car was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever ridden
in. My hips and legs were screaming, no matter what I did with the seat
adjustments.
I got home on a Saturday, and by the next Saturday it was gone. This was
during the same time that Eisboch got rid of the M5. (Or did you forget
about that also?)

If you had asked, I would have advised that the Mustang is a 'young
person's' car.
Now that I mention it...that's what my next door neighbour said about my
red Ranger Sport truck.. First thing after seeing it he says..."that's
a young man's truck"
I wonder what his point was?
