You have a baby truck. I have a real truck.

Don't you mean Yellow Submarine Mustang?

I saw a perfect little red truck for the pony car owner as I walked back
from the computer store an hour ago.
I'll try to get a picture of it tomorrow and post here.

Before you walk too far on that short dock, I sold the Mustang about two
months ago - duly reported.

You did? Ummm...why?

Neener, neener, neener -- I got two, and you only got one. Hah!

As I duly reported a month or so ago, I took the car for a six hour trip to
North Carolina. The car was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever ridden
in. My hips and legs were screaming, no matter what I did with the seat
adjustments.

I got home on a Saturday, and by the next Saturday it was gone. This was
during the same time that Eisboch got rid of the M5. (Or did you forget
about that also?)

If you had asked, I would have advised that the Mustang is a 'young
person's' car.
Now that I mention it...that's what my next door neighbour said about my
red Ranger Sport truck.. First thing after seeing it he says..."that's
a young man's truck"
I wonder what his point was?

Y'know. I've driven a new mustang,a nd confessedly, I really wasn't
that impressed. I used to have a '72 Boss 429, and I really haven't
seen a Mustang since that could live up to that standard. Of course,
that's my opinion and YMMV.

However! I do still have my '92 Mark VII in the garage under tarp.
Nice 5.0 HO, gobs of torque, and a beautiful ride.

oooooooohhhhhhh!

I had a '72 with a 302 2bbl with a C4 trans. Doing 120 on the Interstate
was easy. Cornering with those stupid bias-ply tires was a wild ride.
The time between gas station stops was awfully small.

If it was a young man's sport truck, would not be the strippo model.

Last week, we are at a stop light in Oakland, and I here the sound of power
burbling from some exhaust pipes. Look around see nothing that should make
that tune. Then realise the custom license plate on the old 190 MB in front
of me says SVO Bentz. Dual pipes, traction bars. Nice sleeper.

"strippo model"??
I have the Super Cab, V6 with automatic, air conditioning, AM/FM/CD
player stereo, running rail, tonneau cover etc.
Not fancy...but not a stripped down work truck either.
