The antagonistic individuals who loved to have long name calling flamefest have for the most part left rec.boats and moved onto other forums for name calling and fighting, take a chill pill and enjoy life. I'm not worked up, and I enjoy the hell out of life! Do you enjoy all the arguing you do here on rec.boats? |

Perhaps you should tell all of the policemen and women of the world that, along with all military persons. |

I NEVER, EVER said the earth was 6000 years old. You can't possibly be that senile.......can you? If you teach Karate, if you are a black belt, then what do you teach your students about self control? Do you teach them to never walk away, but hold your ground and kick ass no matter how trivial the confrontation.... even if just walking away would be infinitely simpler? Take a deep breath and a few steps back. See if you are handling these words in a way that you would like your students to handle them. He probably teaches them to stand there and get their asses handed to them, all the while claiming they are "winning" the same thing that happens to kevin here on the NG |

Perhaps you should tell all of the policemen and women of the world that, along with all military persons. Now, that is some really clear, deep, and incontrovertible logic! Can you perceive any difference between a physical attack with the intent of serious bodily injury or death vs. carrying on a verbal ****ing contest far beyond any hope of either side persuading the other of anything. Did you happen to see the part I wrote about rec.boats vs. real life???? After the first exchange or two it carries the same weight as a couple of 4 year olds throwing sand at each other. If you can't walk away from that, well, I just don't know..... Then stop, Gene! I do hate to kill entire threads when something of value might happen, but I'm certainly not going to stay in the sandbox with the children..... and I suspect your readership is dwindling for the same reason... I don't come here to garner "readership". so, moot point. |

Non-responsive. Answer the question, and if you don't understand it, let me know. I did. If you don't understand my answer, let me know. I did. It was unresponsive. You didn't indicate your level of enjoyment from your constant arguing in this NG, which was my question. You ony stated your self-perceived purpose in this NG, which was not my question to you. Anyway, I'm about to go out of town again, so I won't be replying for a while. But the basic premise I was driving at is just as many others have tried to tell you, so here's my turn at it... You say this NG isn't real life and that you enjoy life. However, it appears that the thing that you enjoy most is arguing in this NG. I don't know what your life is really like, or how old you are, or what your real profession is. The only thing any of us have to go on is the perception you put out here in rec.boats. The image you project is that you're about 17-25, never been laid, non-professional, maybe even developmentally challenged. Probably not a boat owner, and not very worldly or successful. Keep in mind that I'm not calling you these things, just stating that this is the image you portray on this NG. If you're married, as you say you are, then I give you this challenge. Call your wife into the room, and get her to read a few of the exchanges you've been involved in the last few days. You won't do it. Because if you did, you'd be in the spare bedroom with Joe for the next few weeks. Think about it. |
