Perhaps you take the voting process lightly. I don't.
She was laughing at your inability to make speak your displeasure
about the voting machines in an effective manner. You asking a poll
volunteer "What are your credentials? Who are you? Why should I
trust you?" makes as much sense as screaming at the moon, both of
them are just as effective in changing the voting process. Perhaps
if you did take the voting process seriously, and really wanted to
make a change, you would realize how completely ineffective your
confrontational behavior is and so something that would make a
difference. My guess is you enjoy the confrontation, and really
don't care if they change the machines.

You assume the woman was a "volunteer." She was not. She introduced
herself as a "supervisor" from the state board of elections, and was
wearing a state ID nameplate. We had some serious problems during the
primaries some weeks ago, and the board of elections caught hell.

Perhaps you ought to have a few facts on hand before you drool in
here, hey?

Perhaps you should understand that yelling and asking them "What are
your credentials? Who are you? Why should I trust you?" , at anyone
during the voting process has no effect on the system, no matter what
their position is. The fact that you do not realize this will make
you completely ineffective campaigning for anything you believe in.


Where did you get the idea I was yelling, d.f.? The woman was a
representative of the state; she damned well better know what she is doing.

I did vote, and I know asking a supervisor "What are your credentials?
Who are you? Why should I trust you?" while they are supervising an
election in process will do nothing. The fact that you continue to try
to justify your behavior shows how out of touch with how "do'er" get
things done. Hint- they way you did it isn't the way.

I voted green party for governor. I know the guy doesn't stand a
snowballs chance, but I'm comfortable I voted and how I voted, , and I
didn't vote for either dem. nor rep.

Darn, I forgot about that. It's a good thing to get any third party
to the 5% threshold so they can get funding. The more voices,
the better, unless it gets babylonian.

This whole voting process now sickens me thanks to your party.


According to that well know conservative, Keith Olbermann of MSNBC, a few
people reported getting anonymous phone calls telling the recipient that
their voting location had changed and gave them a location in which the
voter could not vote.

There is no evidence yet that this is being done by any political
organization nor does it sound like intimidation to me. But anyway, that's
why the FBI was called in by the head of the Virginia election overseers.

This reminds me of the old feeble minded people yelling at the clerk at
the airline ticket desk when the flight is canceled due to bad weather.

Or at the waitress because the kitchen is backed up. And then she spits in
their food.

I wonder if the poll worker unplugged Harry's machine before it could post.
