Same holds true for film cameras. Plus you need to know nuances of each type of film. You can buy a Pro model camera body for $5000, if you put a cheap $80 lens on the body, you will not be pleased with the quality anymore than you will with a cheap lens on the Nikon D50. If you use a quality lens on a Nikon D50 you can get very good results. Based upon your desire to get a inexpensive camera and lens combo, I really think you would prefer a point and shot camera by Nikon or Canon. Nope, already have a point and shoot. Being an SLR amateur photographer for about 25 years, I can't stand it! |
