We could be in the situation of trying to retrieve an item off a walkway where a grappling iron would probably get stuck.. also I'm fearful of it damaging something - I thought a lightweight telescopic pole with a hook on t he end would give more control. may I need to go looking at Fishing poles... Here's another idea. Someone, I know not who, makes very long telescoping devices for changing light bulbs in high ceilings. I've seen one that is at least 25ft long used at our church. I'm sure one could easily be modified with a hook to meet your purpose. |
