Looking for a really long boot hook - where to buy..?

I'm looking for info on boathooks.. I've no experience of sailing /
boating at all - hence that's why I'm in here asking.
I'm looking for a really long - ideally telescopic boat hook. The
purpose for which I want it is related to work - At the site where I
work we have a really deep pit for the surface water outfall. In an
attempt to stop people needing to go into the pit I'd like to be able to
reach into the pit - using something like a telescopic boat hook - to
retrieve any debris (EG: plastic bags etc.) that blow into it. The pit
is about 10 metres deep
Can anyone point me in the direction of a UK based supplier of anything
that might meet my needs...?
