You're discounting the fact that people can turn to mobile fueling
services.

And in that case have *no idea* what brand of fuel they're getting.

They can't ask?

Furthermore, a lot of
marinas associated with fuel docks aren't going to let a competing fuel
sales vehicle pull up and start pumping. There are environmental
concerns to consider, as well as the fact that the marina is getting a
rake-off from the fuel dock and wouldn't get one from some guy in stove
oil truck.

What about boats like mine, that sit on a lift or at a dock?

Doc, they can ask, but I very seriously doubt if the majority of the
guys 'n gals that run the check out, selling $2 buck sunglasses ,

decision that we were assured was designed to reduce the risk of
terrorism in the US has actually increased it, for example) The good
news about a CITGO boycott is that it would not increase the threat of
terrorism in the US, (except perhaps by straining an already difficult
relationship between Bush and Chavez) but on the other hand it wouldn't
do one darn thing to make you or your family safer. The most likely
unexpected consequences of boycotting the CITGO dock is that you might
drive the fuel dock operator out of business. You might get kicked out
of your marina if you try to do any agitating, organizing, or otherwise
damage the business of the fuel dock -(proabably economically linked to
the marina). Or, you might just run out of gas.

If it makes you feel any better, and if there are multiple fuel docks
in your vicinity,
don't buy CITGO. Freedom of choice. But don't feel like the boater you
see taking on fuel at the CITGO dock is helping Hugo Chavez aim his
(imaginary) nuclear warheads at the rooftop of your family's home. He
or she is certainly not, nor are you having any impact on terrorism by
purchasing your refined products elsewhere.

Do you get the feeling this might be a troll? Somehow I can't believe
anyone would really believe a boycott of Citgo Gas Stations is going to
hurt Venezuela's ability to sell every gallon of oil or gas they want to.

I try my best to stay away from the political posts, but sometimes they
pull me in, by their shear stupidity.
