Thank you for illustrating my long-standing position so clearly. The
problem with personal fights (typically beginning in OT political
posts) is that they tend to leak into
the on-topic discussions. Harry's right, nobody much cares about how
you and JimH might feel about each other. The purpose of the NG is to
discuss boats, not sustain some bleak and dismal soap opera.


If either one of them would simply ignore the other it would stop. They
fuel off of each other, each having to have the last say.

I've got a couple of young grandchildren that argue in a similar way.

If my kids ever stooped as low as JimH and started telling lies about
other people, making wild allegations, say mean spirited things about
someone's family, etc. they would be punished. I hope to hell JimH
hasn't instilled his horrible low life standards on his kids.
