My wife taught for 32 years and can tell you many horror stories. However, the blame does not rest with them but rather with the lack of parent participation/interest in the education of their children.......without that all bets are off. The city of Cleveland has a graduation rate at around 50%.........50%!!!!!!!!!! Surrounding suburbs are generally in the 99% range. Go figure. ;-) |
