Hi
I am currently putting together the interior of a small speedboat, its my 1st boat so i have a few questions...if anyone can help would be grateful.. 1 Before i attach the ply side walls, is it wise to pack it out with buoyancy aids..ie polystyrene? 2 Should i cut a hole in the side walls for access...right now all they have is speaker holes. 3 Should i enclose the petrol tank or just make sure its secure? 4 Where is the best place to keep the battery? I realise no where near the petrol tank!...do they come in enlosed casing? Hope someone can give me some advice.... Cheers |

3 Should i enclose the petrol tank or just make sure its secure? Good question - I recall this was important. Depends on material, metal tanks could be prone to corrosion if water can leak or condense on the tank. I don't recall the specifics - I think it was in the Sorensen or maybe Armstrong book...
