wrote: Nothing but blues out in the Bay today. Great fighters on light tackle. One hell of a steady wind, with gusts, too, out of the NW, making for the usual 2' to 3' hard chop. Lost an anchor and line to the Bay bottom. I manage to do that every other season. Coastie SAR was out looking for something or other. Saw their planes circling overhead for hours, along with a 'copter or two. Later I heard someone had fallen off a boat yesterday up near the Bay bridge adjacent to Annapolis, but I have no idea if the Coasties we saw and that accident were connected. I guess the NOAA folks were wrong, as usual. This morning they were talking one footers! Sorry about the anchor. Was that off the YoHo or the big boat? |
