![]() "Bert Robbins" wrote in message Why should the dealers be the only ones that can obtain the tools needed for maintaining the $20,000 motor I purchased? Or, did I just purchase a right to use for a period of time with the requirement that I enormous amounts of money at a dealership to have my motor maintained? I hope you are not directing your comments to me. I believe the manaufacturer should allow their customers to buy the same service manuals and special tools as the dealer does, if they want to. It is the individual dealers that may have a different policy, and the nice thing about that, there are many other dealers who will sell to you. Bill Grannis service manager |
