Now that I am "experienced" .... I can honestly claim that it was no big
deal, other than the anticipation.
I don't know what the drugs are that they give you, but I remember not
giving a %&8# while *she* explored.
Kinda nice peace of mind knowing all was A-ok.

That's what they tell me. I don't believe it.

How's the General doing?

New engine runs great and is strong but we are chasing a small oil leak.
Taking it back to the shop Friday. It's coming from the bellhousing area and
I suspect the rear main. The shop that did the work is insistent that it's
got to be perfect.

Meanwhile .... the F-350 is back at the dealership having a new turbo
installed. Not having the best of luck with that truck. Fortunately it
didn't die on the road this time. The "check engine" light came on, so I
brought it in suspecting a bad sensor or something. The dealership called
later in the day to inform me that they ordered a new turbo for it.
