how much work would it be to install a new gas guage in my '95 18ft Neptune fishing boat? The current guage has apparently just quit on me for good and not knowing how much gas is in the tank is pretty scary. Do I need a mechanic to run the wires deep into the gas tank or is it something I can install myself? The float assembly can usually be removed using a screw driver and a pair of pliers to remove the wire to the sending unit. Shown are two different types. http://www.international-auto.com/im...34285000w2.jpg http://yamahajetboaters.com/membertips/fuelfix.html |
